Local Business Women Wins Award

On Tuesday 1st May 2019, in Central London Suzie McCafferty of Platinum Wave Franchising accepted their accolade from EWIF (Encouraging Women into Franchising). Suzie and her team have been working tirelessly at Platinum Wave since she founded the company in 2010. Their work has not gone unnoticed, as Suzie has today been recognised by the franchise industry for her dedication, ambition and ability to inspire others. Several other inspirational women were nominated for the Service Provider of the Year, but Suzie shone through the finalists to win this prestigious award.
Every year EWIF holds an annual award ceremony designed to bring together the best women in the industry to celebrate their successes. EWIF’s 2019 Awards brought together over 150 franchise professionals to celebrate women in franchising. A true celebration of women and their place in the world of business!

EWIF are a not-for-profit organisation run entirely by volunteers, providing advice and guidance to anyone looking to break into the franchise industry. Their remit is threefold: to encourage women to consider buying a franchise, to encourage business women to franchise their existing operations and to help franchisors attract more women to their network. EWIF focuses their time and energy on supporting women who are looking for a route into the franchise industry. With regional meetings, an annual awards ceremony, annual conferences and much more taking place for their members, EWIF has become a valuable community and source of information for so many people.
