Business E-Clinic - FAQs on managing a safe return to work

The Mid & East Lothian Chamber are running a series of Business E-Clinics, one-hour free interactive advice and guidance sessions from experts on topical issues (followed by an opportunity for a 1-2-1 session with the expert if required).

The E-Clinic will include an overview of the latest government information and what they mean to businesses, a chance for local firms to highlight how what they’re doing and also an industry expert giving specific insights.

On 16th July, we'll be joined by Ian Pilbeam and Tristan Bellringer from The HR Dept who will answers all your burning questions on Managing a safe return to work. 

Getting back to your workplace has never been more complicated than in a COVID World. You will want to get it right, giving yourself peace of mind that you are looking after your team and customers, and not exposing yourself to unnecessary risk. But where to start, with so much government guidance, sometimes conflicting and sometimes with gaps, and then how much can you rely on information on the internet and social media? As a result too many businesses are either doing too much (at an unnecessary cost) or not enough.  

This session is your opportunity to put your questions to experts in this field, as well as get some top tips on how to plan and manage a safe return to the workplace.

The HR Dept are well known to many members, and specialise in Health & Safety support for local small businesses, as well as HR. Ian and Tristen will give you both the reassurance that you are doing things right, and no doubt you will learn something valuable as well.
